Don’t be suckered in by the beautiful visuals, the glowing reviews, the promise of a patient and meaningful story. Life is Strange is an ok game at first, but it’s a slow burn towards a raging dumpster fire of cringe-worthy sloppy writing. For those who have played the game and disagree – please hear me out. At first I didn’t want to admit I’d been conned either, but upon reflection I couldn’t get past the creeping feeling that something was terribly wrong. There is help for you, and coming to terms is the first step.
Sharin no Kuni is funded. Yay.
What the fuck, guys?
I mean, yay! Yay for the industry. I’m genuinely happy to see VNs being localized. There are too many great games that will never see the light of day over here, and Sharin no Kuni may have never gotten an official release in the West if it weren’t for the support of its fans. So, yay!
So, you want to raise a psychopathic killer and you’re wondering how to do it. I’m impressed you thought to come to me with this. Gather ’round ole Stonewall, everyone, and let him tell you how to fuck your kid up. I know of nobody who is better suited to lecture on this subject.
What is the best fighter game ever and why is it called Street Fighter 3rd Strike?
So recently I wrote a post about games that make me a bit hyper competitive. Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike is one of those games. This is hands down my favorite game in the Street Fighter franchise, and, I can say with complete objectivity, the best fighter game ever made in the history of mankind.
I don’t consider myself an overly competitive person. I like to take the high road and congratulate my opponent upon defeat, like a true gentleman and scholar. Ask anybody, Pugs is a paragon of sportmanship.
You may or may not have noticed that I did absolutely nothing this weekend. While I forgive you for probably thinking this was in some way my fault, the truth is that I got tied up in forces that were simply too powerful for me.
I’ve been reminiscing on all my favorite gameboy games and I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Advance Wars, a game that inspired my love for turn based strategy.
I recently revisited one of my favorite RPG’s, the original Golden Sun for the Gameboy Advance.
